Morning all, very cold here this morning. Our weather clock is indicating around -2 degrees outside

A usual sort of day here. Hubby has gone back to work today and Em is off to a friend's for tea after school. There is a meeting at school this evening for Emily's year r.e. her sats tests this year and the school residential trip to Whitby. It will be the same meeting Tom had when he was in that year but I may pop along anyhow.

Very cold here too - brrrrr but still bright.

My Daughter has a meeting about her School Camp this Thursday.

Nothing happening here either. Delighted to report that the boys ate their breakfast without any drama this morning - had a big enough shock to last for a week there!

So far so good this morning . . . Sebastian has been quite cheerful, but started kicking off so is now snoozing happily in his cot. He's getting a bit of a sniffle and a cough poor babe.

The weather is cold and bright so I shall don shades and my vivid pink (warm) coat and push the pram into town to get some bits and pieces in a while. Also need to get a major food shop sorted. Not sure how much the au pair will eat so need to be prepared for all eventualities

Lovely day here after an early frost.........

Cassie doesn't appear too well this morning .......... she just picked at her breakfast then brought it back up an hour later

She is sound asleep in the rocking chair now with the sun rays falling on her.......... I'll steam some fish for her later to see if she can be tempted....

Oh. Hope that's just a one-off and Cassie will soon be back to normal. Poor girl. Nice roaring fire here if she wants to convalesce with her Auntie Hil.

Good afternoon all. Nice to be back!! Well, that turned out to be the weekend from hell. The in laws bus was 5 and a half hours late on thursday because of all the high winds and motorways being closed, and I ended up sitting in Wolverhampton bus station the whole time!!!!! Then OH came down with 'the bug' on thurs night, so I ended up doing all the meals and running about and ended up sleeping on the couch every night because he was so bad! The in laws went home this morning so I have spent all day getting the house back to normal.
Went to a charity shop and bought an old fleece jacket for Princess to use as her bed so she isn't cold at night, lol! Tried giving Broxi and Cooper Felix food last week, that caused the major runs so back to whiskas and all cleared up thank goodness. Teddie doing ok, but cant find arrowroot for love nor money to try bulking her food out.
Hope everyone is ok, and wrap up warm if you have to go out. x

Sounds like your weekend couldn't have got any worse

and you ended up doing all the work after all

Now that peace reigns in your house once more, you can chill out here on Catsey ........ the best therapy going!
