some local photos


i live 5 minutes from the thames i went to clifton hampden(this is part of the 3 men in a boat),and culam (lock),so thought i would take some pictures with my new camera i took loads i have a soft spot for river bridges .

Nice part of the world. Do you go up to Wittenham Clumps at all? We love it up there . . . So peaceful and evocative.

yes yola,been up a few times,including doing a childrens birthday party at the earth center,(dj)i will be going that way again when i get a longer range lens,been looking for ideal shooting spots for when the power station is dismantled,block by block.

Except if you turn the other way you have the rather less lovely (and now defunct) Didcot Power Station cooling towers. But yes, it's a lovely part of South Oxfordshire round there.

here we have didcot towers,although these are very different to that other place called alton towers ,i live on the perimeter of didcot ,we have to only step over the road to open fields,although there is a proposal to build houses there ,the land is owned by reading university,if this goes ahead we may move
