No pumpkins anywhere!

November 2nd and not a pumpkin to be had in the local supermarket! I'm making Thai spiced pumpkin soup with a butternut squash imported from Portugal. Don't people realise that pumpkins are food and not just props for Halloween?
Oh dear, I'm having a grumpy old woman moment.......

Lol C S , you are quite right to grumble. Hope you find a pumpkin somewhere. I could do with some more to cook for the dogs.
