Saturday daily.

Good evening ladies,
Saturday evening, 7.45 pm and it's really cold. I've had the heat pump on 24 degrees all day as we couldn't get warm. Boy, I was wild yesterday when my whole post just disappeared. Stupid computer. Anyway Jared and I moved the desk and computer back into the lounge this morning and it's no longer heating up, thank goodness. Jared removed all the viruses as well, and so now I've got a happy computer again.

Janna had a great birthday on Wednesday and got lots of presents. I think her favourite one is a pair of Harry Potter leggings - she loves anything Harry Potter. We had a Hell Pizza platter for tea that night, along with a small pizza and Raspberry sorbet, kindly supplied by Brenna. Janna is going out with Brenna some time in October and do some shopping, which she's looking forward to. Brenna also put $200 into her account to buy something for herself. Unfortunately Paddy didn't contact her at all, but then we weren't expecting him to.

Brenna's lip is now swollen again and is very painful, She had the external stitches out and all was going well, until the internal stitches which were meant to dissolve ,didn't do so. and her lip started to swell. Her specialist told her that the stitches were "migrating outwards" (not sure what he means by that). Anyway, she had to have some of them manually removed ,which involved cutting into her lip again and then more external stitches.I hope that once she gets these stitches removed, that will be the end of it. Unfortunately in her line of work, she has to wear a mask, and that irritates the site, but she'll be starting her new job soon and so won't be close up to patients so much.

Janna and I went to Bishopdale shopping centre for lunch on Thursday as a birthday treat. I had a massive toasted cheese roll, Janna had a hot dog and we shared a bowl of chips. Unfortunately, my knees were really sore and I didn't want to walk around too much. I'm seeing my own doctor next week again, before she leaves and going to look at being referred to the hospital. It's a pity I can't take anti- inflammatory tablets, but they are not good for diabetics.

PAMELA, sorry you're having wet weather at the moment At least it's not raining here.It sounds as if your show went well last weekend. I really would have thought that those treat jars would have all sold, but as you say, next time . I'm sure they'll all disappear in the first 10 minutes and you won't be able to keep up with the orders for them.My heart nearly stopped when I heard about Robyn dashing out the front door the other day. Thank goodness she didn't head towards the main road. I think I would have been sick as well through worry., but you can't appear to be freaking out around the dog, as that makes them worse. Robyn is very young and excitable but with training she will settle down. I'm glad you're now going to start it, and once that's underway, you'll have a fantastic dog. Thank goodness Skye is now A-OK again. What a worrying time you've had, Pamela.
I'm pleased that your dad arrived home safely from Bulgaria and had a great time there with his mates.AND I hope that you had a really good chat with your mum on Wednesday and told her all your news.It does help to talk, I know, and your mum is never far from you.

SHELLEY, I'm glad you enjoyed the doco ,Moonage Daydream. I haven't heard of it but if it comes here at all, I'll definitely go and see it.I liked David Bowie, but my favourite is still Freddie Mercury.(and he loved cats as well). I'm sorry your doll fair last weekend was a little disappointing as there were lots of realborns and not too many antique dolls. Still I'm sure it was good to get out with your friends , and half the fun is not knowing what you might come across. I'm surprised ,too, that finding a printer for your book is proving so difficult. Just keep trying and I'm sure you'll find someone soon. It must be frustrating though, when you've done all the hard work. Are you pleased with your newly painted doll room ? I bet it looks really fresh and nice. It's amazing what a fresh coat of paint will do,

Well ladies, I hope you both have a great weekend and you get some decent weather. Hope the training goes well Pamela, and Shelley, hope there might be a doll fair you can find today.
