I'm back I'm back from the hospital. New plaster in place - lightweight much much better, on for 6 weeks  however I am going back to work on Friday/Sat then one wekk till my holiday I had nothing booked officaly just prebooked the hire car which I should get my money back on as I am not insured to drive - due to the plaster therefore no problem.Seems I have not broken my radiius but my Scaphoid bone it is in the wrist apparently. No different treatment but harder to spot it seems. Never mind the AE Doc was really pushed, its sorted now treatment/cast would have been the same regardless. Plan now for my holiday is to walk the dogs - poor girls will wonder whats happened. Garden, off on the train to wherever it stops, generally relax Good point a large Yellow marigold glove (you know the ones you use to wash up) fits over my plaster so that should keep my plaster dry. Could have been worse.

Is it one of those bright pink plaster casts Kazz Hope you will still manage to enjoy your holidays from work despite being in plaster. The girls will not mind what they do as long as they spend time with you  |

They only do white plaster at that hospital. I am right handed. Sussed out keeping my arm on a pillow helps, even though its lightweight it seems heavy on my shoulder. |
