Very ill guinea pig.Tansy, a guinea pig we took in last year, is very ill. She has a ruptured ovarian cyst and it has caused her to go into shock. I rushed her to the vets and she has had antibiotics, pain relief and sub cut fluids. I have to keep giving fluids for the next 24 hours and hope she pulls through. It is very touch and go for her. Thankfully I took them inside at the weekend, so she is warm and at least treating her won't be as bad as if I had to go outside and check on her in the kennels. Please keep your fingers crossed for her.
