Rose in December!!

Took this is in the garden today. Poor plants have been so confused with our very mild autumn and winter.

This is the climbing rose I bought in the pondshop in june. It is 'Arthur Bell' and has achieved about three feet this year.

Re: Rose in December!!

Amazing - I still have a rose in bloom up against the front wall of the bungalow but the iris that flowered last week has been killed by the frost. That looks like a lovely healthy rose CM - I had bad blackspot this year and need to make sure all my cuttings get well burned.

That's lovely! I had one bloom in late November, but that was the last, and now we've had a killing frost.
