Great advice from Smudgley! Light diet to consist of cooked white fish or chicken with a small amount of white rice added....Hope he feels better very soon x |

Smudgely, it took me ages to remember how to spell diarrhoea, could have done with your little rhyme then! As an HCA it is a word that I need to write quite often in patients notes!!! I agree with the others, starve for a few hours, although make sure he has plenty to drink and then gradually introduce a bland diet of chicken or plain fish and boiled rice. Check for dehydration and rehydrate if necessary. |
