April 2006

Thank goodness it's nearly over.

Will anyone who has had good things happen to them this month please contribute to this thread.....................it just seems to be one awful thing (of various levels of seriousness) after another.

Re: April 2006

Nice holiday, raise and took the opportunity to help someone cheer up. The latter is the best.
Does that count?

Re: April 2006

I had my 20 week consultant appointment today (still April, just) and baby is doing fine; strong heartbeat and everything running normal!! 1/2 way there and so far so good!!

April has been a pig of a month . . . I do hope that everyone who's had a rough time finds May to be a much kinder month

Re: April 2006

Well we managed to book a nice holiday after about 8 years of talking about it, but I must admit April has been a poor month for CP

Re: April 2006

Not a lot of replies

Yola - good news from you. Pleased to hear that. Will you find out the sex?

but .............. CP members (on-line friends, I had thought. People who try to support each other) now hissing and spitting. Whatever next? Let's try and keep it positive; remember Thumper's advice "If you can't say nothing that's nice then don't say nothing at all". Should I put a smilie to show that I am saying that in a 'peacekeeper' role, rather than a 'headmistress' one?

Re: April 2006

Well April has bought me:

My son, Sean, has at last got to see a school councellor to help him cope with school life.

Think my divorce was April.

My daughter had a great birthday on the 7th.

I have a new kitchen!!

All great things for me. Hope things improve for everyone who is having a bad time x
