True... remember that bit from Gran's apple-trees. Didn't mind much when I was five and could eat as much fallen fruit as I wanted. Less picky about ripeness then. |

Smudgley your tree's bring back some really hapy memories for me. When I was growing up my Mum and Dad had 7 apple tree's (cookers) in the back garden and a pear tree. We used to have a swing from one of the apple tree's, the old tyre and rope kind. Mum made apple pies,, crumbles and froze some for the winter. |
