'Ornamental' cabbage

I know that in the grand scheme of things this doesn't matter at all.
And I know that we all have different taste.
And I apologise in advance to anyone with a garden full......

.....but I hate those mauve or cream and green alleged 'ornamental' cabbage which are sold as providing attractive colour in the winter garden. I'd rather have bare earth!

Anybody else, or is it just me? (again

To be honest DM, I wouldn't know an ornamental cabbage if it jumped up and hit me in the face

Not something to get very agitated about, but I saw a 'display' in a border earlier and it just reminded me how I dislike them

But, as I said earlier - it doesn't matter!

I suppose they 'fill a gap' in the winter garden so that the cat's can't scratch it up

I quite like them, nice colours and an interesting shape . . . *runs for cover and dodges rotten cabbage leaves*
