There used to be an American in the 80s called Kelly Monteith, he was excellently funny. Also Ben Elton in his day was superb. Some of Jasper Carrot's early stuff is good, likewise with Billy Connolly and Robin Williams. I did see Phill Jupitus live several years ago and I was in tears of laughter - which is rare for me Stuff like Fithy Rich and Catflap with Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmonson I also liked (+ young ones etc). I don't go huge bundle on the 'new' lot, Ricky Gervais (although local boy) completely baffles me |

I saw Jasper Carrot live and he was brilliant although it was a good few years ago. Billy can be really funny but as a kid it had to be Norman Wisdom. He had me in stitches just looking at him. Now a days if something is listed as a comedy I tend not to watch it as I don't find them funny. Oh humbug does that make me sound like I don't have a sense of humor? |
