Going Crazy!!

I have spent all weekend thinking I am mad....

On Friday afternoon, I thought I changed one lightbulb in my light fitting in the dining room. I thought my daughter had helped me by taking the old bulb and passing up the new bulb as I was standing on the dining room table.

Went to bed as normal, got up Saturday and went to work. On my return Saturday evening I noticed there was NO lightbulb in the light fitting... no lightbulb anywhere at all. Not smashed, not on the floor ... nowhere.

I have then spent all Saturday evening searching for this lightbulb until I decided I had gone mad and hadnt replaced the bulb on the Friday. All Sunday I still think I am mad, as I asked my daughter who says I never asked her to help her change the lightbulb on Friday

Crazy woman me

Anyway son comes back from weekend away and I start telling him the crazy mother story... for him to go to the cabinet and get a lightbulb...

"Found it on the floor Friday night mum" he says... must of popped out the fitting and fallen onto the floor. He had picked it up and placed it somewhere safe And he said it was him that had helped me Friday evening when I was changing the lightbulb over

I have spent all weekend thinking my age is really catching up with me and thinking I crazy.... please tell me it doesnt get worse!! My memory is appauling.... my brain is frazzled already

Poor Donna - things like that happen sometime. Don't worry about it.

Re: Going Crazy!!

I got in the car last week and wondered why there was a bottle of milk on the passenger seat. Went to put it in the fridge and found my handbag??? The following day I got in the car with the tea towel!!! I was more suprised that I had done the dishes HA
