Pootle

It is witha very heavy heart that I am here to let you all know that dear sweet Pootle has left this mortal coil.
It would apear that she had some sort of neurological problem and after a series of of them at the vets, it was felt that it was kinder to let her go. Due to this neorological problem, her kidneys had shut down and she was unable to retain any fluids at all, she had no conception of space or balance. The vet couldnt even read her blood results as they were off the scale.
Pootle had been well until saturday evening, at this time she had gone off food and by sunday evening she was wailing, looking bewildered and drinkning excessively.
It is small comorft to both Emma and myself that at least she had a few happy and well loved months.
R.I.P. Dear Sweet Pootle, Winston will look after you sweetheart xxx

And a grown man you have never met is finding it hard to hit the keyboard for tears.

We have to remember the love we gave and the love given back

Re: Pootle

I am so very sorry to hear this Elaine. Take comfort from the fact that her last months were happy, comfortable ones, where she was loved and pampered.

RIP little girl, strong and happy at the bridge xx
