Letter to the Future

If you are a member of the RSPB you will already be aware of this big campaign that the Society is spearheading.

To quote Graham Wynne, Chief Executive of RSPB

"As we struggle through the credit crunch, governments are making tough decisions about where to spend money and about where to make cuts - these decisions will affect us all. They will affect nature, the environment, our quality of life and the prospects of future generations. One way or another, today's children will have to pay for them. Unfortunately, they won't just be paying for our economic mistakes, but for the way we treat the environment, too. The threats facing the natural world right now really are unprecedented. And the longer we wait to act, the more extinctions there will be, the more precious places for wildlife irretrievably lost."

Our future needs nature;
nature needs a voice.

If you want to find out more about the campaign, sign the letter and/or make a donation, please visit

Many thanks.
