I watched it Kazz and I must admit to having a lump in my throat. I thought Alfie was brilliant on the beach.....his acting was well worthy of an award... To meet up with the old comrade of William's and not to know just added to the great episode. I forgot I was watching Eastenders in the end!! |

You hit the nail on the head there Mags about it not being like watching Eastenders. It definitely wasn't done in a soapy fashion at all. It was handled very sensitively but really giving out the message that so much was given by those who fought, and so many were lost. |
