Yes, Mags, way way too heavy! It's a 20 minute walk, part of it uphill to boot! I've ordered seeds; am sure it's too late this season for them to bloom, but they are marginally hardy here in my climate zone and may overwinter with mulching; also, they can be grown indoors as a pot plant according to one link ....... |

I like a bit of a mixture - accents of bold colour contrasts are great I think. I was amazed when I first saw these berries on a small tree in a garden I was visiting - They didn't look real somehow - that red and orange together. It's called the European Spindle Berry - don't know if you have a similar tree or shrub in U.S.? |
