Eileen (Dandysmom)

Fond memories of Eileen (Dandysmom) who passed away two years ago today.

A lovely lady from Washington DC who touched the hearts of many on Catsey and Over50s with her kindness, consideration and wit.

A very special lady and a very special friend who will always be remembered. xx

Re: Eileen (Dandysmom)

I knew this anniversary of dear Eileen's death was approaching and my thoughts have been with her posts which always were kindly and thoughtful and full of wit.

I still miss you Eileen and suspect I always will. You are remembered most fondly even though we never met "in the real world".

I wonder how Leia is doing - have you heard anything Mags?

Re: Eileen (Dandysmom)

I will always remember the day of her passing as it's my late grans birthday, so today I have remembered 2 very special ladies.

Catsey is a poorer place without Eileen and I get a jolt when I see an old thread resurrected and her name is there Very sadly missed xx

Bless you Eileen, you really did make people happy who you never met and lived many miles from you but you were loved. Rest well, missed but never forgotten xxx

Re: Eileen (Dandysmom)

Early for a daily Mags

I smile when I write this I see Eileen charging round after squirrels or there again in heaven you would think you would get only the things you love.

A lovely lady and missed in this house. I think of her whenever I look out of the front window as I named "little green Acer" after her. And was pleased when "Eileen" and
"Ernie" survived the weather that got "Eric" the Acer.

So that is another year gone although it really does not seem that long at all. Only a moment ago we were telling her to "take care" and hearing about the weather.

I also like to think we as a group made her life a happier place I know she did to mine, and always will.

Rest In Happiness DM

Angie, I haven't received any further messages from either Caroline or Chris since a month or two after Eileen passed away. All I know is that Caroline was still continuing taking Leia to the vet for her medication.

Re: Eileen (Dandysmom)

Thanks Mags. I expect you would have shared if you'd heard anything.

Kazz, I am sure that she would have said that finding this forum made her life happier (and I think she did). We were all well suited with each other.
