Hi Netty, sorry but I can`t really be of much help really as I have never encounterd this myself, whatspot on did the vet use? I have heard that the flea collars can make them lose their fur where the collar is though. |

I havent used the white one. It has happened to guinness when we used one though but i cant remember whats its called. Like the others said i would ask the vets as a precaution as well. |

I did call the vet. She used stronghold, but said it shouldn't cause a reaction. I checked it on the web and it does say it causes fur loss where it is applied, but nothing to worry about as it should grow back. Stronghold is apparently cheaper than frontline and not as good. I've to keep an eye on it and let her know if there is any change. Its my first time at that vet because its nearer to us, but I think I will go back to my other vet from now on. |

If you are happier with your other vet even though it`s further away I would stick with them. The vets that I use is quite a trek to get to and there is others closer but I wouldn`t use them at all. |
