Sunny Saturday

Morning all

Have decided the front path needs a bit of a clean not with the jet washer however saw some stuff that is both a cleaner and a weed inhibitor in Asda. You mix it with water and put it on with a watering can or something and leave it. Sounds simple (even for me) so I am going to go.

Got the letter to make an appointment for my knee surgery this morning, so will ring Monday.

Have to go up into the oft today and will take a few snaps of the garden promised a lady on dogsey some pics of the baskets/tubs but sort of missed that out with the week.

See you all later.

Its my birthday on Monday I am 50......

Re: Sunny Saturday

Morning Kazz - glad to hear that you have plans in hand, as always. 50 is a brilliant age - it's Johnny Depp's 50th tomorrow, so you are in good company. It's hard to imagine Jack Sparrow being 50 but tempis fugit. It was a long time ago for me!

A hot windy day here. I am still bunged with cold and not feeling too good but I am up and have had a shower and washed my hair, felt much better whilst I was in the shower so perhaps I ought to just go and stand there all day? I've always liked steam ..... although I have one of those steam inhalers that is meant to help loosen a head cold but it doesn't work as well as being under a nice hot shower.

Greenhouse watered, tomato plants are coming on well. Washing on the line, it's a very good drying day today. OH has just popped to the farm shop to get some salady things for supper and I think I'll make myself comfortable and dive into my Kindle again.

Have a good day everyone.

I was working today, The Legacy had a float in chorley carnival so some of the children, parents and staff joined in. The float looked great and the kids did us proud. It was the first carnival for 20 years.
