What a good question! I have no idea how many cats there are in recues but here's a directory of Rescues in the UK and by the length of the list, I dread to think how many there are.. http://www.animalrescuers.co.uk/html/cats.html |

My local shoppkeeper told me about it knowning how i feel about cats. It was the rspca that did it. There inspectors even had to foster kittens in there own homes as well. jane |

There are so many ignorant people out there. My new kitten will be female. She is only 6 weeks old and two people have already asked me if I'll be letting her have a litter! What amazed me was the responses I got when I said no. 1 - Why not, it costs £100 to buy a moggy, look at the money you could make!! 2 - "It's people like you who have caused a huge shortage of kittens" Can you believe it.
