Good morning everyone!

Today is bright and slightly overcast and there is a definate autumnal chill in the air. As yet, we haven't found the need to turn the central heating on so that is one blessing.

Cassie has had her breakfast and is out mooching around......I just hope she keeps away from next door's fishpond!

Nothing special planned for today....

Hubby's flying up to Edinburgh tonight on business and won't be back until late tomorrow night so I have both baby and toddler to deal with for bedtime, and most scarily for getting Dominik to nursery tomorrow morning

Off to see the nurse shortly to get wound looked at; I have to admit to it aching a bit so I hope all's ok down there

Not much more to report, I've had some estate agents round ove the last couple of days just to get an idea of our house's value and have been more than pleasantly surprised by the outcome. If we decide to sell (which might become an issue in a year or 2 as our garden is quite small), we should be able to get something quite spacious!

Hello everyone.

Lovely day, a bit chilly but nice and bright.

Hubby's off to Dubai next Friday (13th) for a medical and a final interview. He'll be back on the 18th with hopefully a new job somewhere in the world.

Summer was back yesterday here, and today: it's 82 degrees & I'm barefoot! Had cocktails on the porch & Leia out with me bird-watching. Some of my Fall bulbs came yesterday so I planted 10 Red Emperor tulips and a dozen blue poppy anemones in a bed by the front walk...covered them with wire weighed down with stones to keep the D**n squirrels from eating them again this year! A cold front is coming...supposed to be only 60 degrees tomorrow...but still haven't turned the heat on yet! Pleasant evening, all!!

Ever so slightly! Spent the whole day shivering. Though I must admit I did some gardening too. Dug up all my dahlias and have wrapped the bulbs for next year, and have planted some heathers, hebes and mini cyclimins.

I was wondering if the "Bah Humbug" was for my lovely weather (soon to be a distant memory!). or that I was relaxing on the porch after my gardening chores were over..??!!
