Afternoon all!

Another lovely sunny day and it's warming up nicely!

Have been into town to collect a bracelet that I had repaired, had a mosey round the shops whilst there but didn't see anything that would make me part with my money!

Have a great day everyone!

Afternoon, Elaine, Moli, Mags! Bright sunny day, a bit below normal, only 21 degrees and breezy; a bit cool for a tank top! To the market: bing cherries and peaches are in season and I'm enjoying them at lunch, which I'm about to have. Leia is napping as usual; she is the sleepingest cat!

Elaine: I presume no cows in the field.....?

Enjoy the day!

Re: Daily Thread Tuesday

Hot and sticky here today, the hottest day so far this year about 28C, I think, but there's a bit of a breeze too so it's pleasant out. The cats are just hanging around in shady places snoring!

The giant cows are in the next field
Had a bit of a disaster this afternoon with the two yorkies and the jrt, well actually the disaster was with one of the yorkies little ****** managed to slip his collar and ran off down the road towards a guy with two cockers, a car was coming. I was running like Jessie Owens, dragging the other two behind me screaming to the guy to try and stop the dog. Fortunately the car did spot the small rat on the road and did stop. The yorkie then came running back towards me and I managed to grab it.
I tell you folks, my heart was in my mouth.

OMG, how scary!! Bet next time he's walked you'll insist on a harness! Do you have insurance to cover you if something awful happens while you're in charge/responsible?

Yes i am insured but still, I dont want to have to use it if you know what i mean
I was shaking a little after it, not to mention sweating profusely
Just very releived that it all ended well for every one

I know exactly what you mean: if you use it they either cancel you or raise the premiums beyond belief! Thank God nothing happened, but I bet you have a few more grey hairs tonight! I never did like Yorkies much; the one down the block is a yappy little horror!
