My Merlin

It's 2 years today that my dear old Merlin passed. Hardly a day goes by when I don't think about him still. He had lived a good long life and was over 23 years old when he made his exit from this world. He had fought renal problems for many years and I often referred to him as "my old soldier". Merlin was my first cat and remains a very special boy in my memories.

I will be having a tot of my special rum in his memory this evening. "Here's to you my lovely special Merlin. Sleep well."

Gorgeous boy...

I never knew you Merlin, but have heard enough to know you were one special cat. Hope you're having a wonderful time playing in a land free from ill health.

Lynz - I had him from about 12 weeks old - the young person who had taken him would have been evicted from her flat as her landlord found out she had a kitten and he was brought into my workplace. I took him home. This was of course long before Catsey and I honestly had no idea about how extraordinary he really was - as I said he was my first cat. He was unpredictable and a bit of a grumpy old b* but I loved him dearly and still do!

Re: My Merlin

Merlin, one special puss who brought a lot of joy to their owner.
Makes me sad even now Angie as he had a special place for me (looking so much like Denis and a previously passed very special boy Tigger)

Run free little man...cloud kisses coming your way xxxxxx
