Soggy Sunday

Morning everyone

Wet and gloomy here with a steady drizzle. Cassie refuses to go out in it, she prefers the comfort of her blanket in the chair, sensible girl!

The 100ft-tall Christmas decorations are already in place in the atrium of one of our main shopping malls here - even though there are still 75 shopping days until Christmas! Maybe I should start writing my cards soon!!

Have a good day all!

Morning Mags, morning all.

Well I am having a lazy day today, need to get some rest - too much work and too much effort spent down the gym! Got tomorrow off as well so looking forward to having a lay in.

Going to cook roast beef for dinner later, have a good day everybody.

Re: Soggy Sunday

Gloomy and wet here too - Pip hasn't been out for his walk and has been behaving like a maniac, racing about. Bet he'll settle on his daddy's lap once the fire has been lit though. He's putting on weight and isn't the little bit of thistledown he once was! His coat is growing too. We have loads of yew berries and the birds are being to congregate - some years it's the only time we get to see a thrush if we're lucky. Hope all these signs don't mean a hard winter. Last year was bad enough.

Enjoy your Sunday everyone.

Re: Soggy Sunday

Sunny and very cool here: down to 7 degrees overnight, chilliest so far, and only up to 12 now! Not my weather; I dislike this time of year as it's too chilly to be really comfortable but not quite chilly enough to put the heat on! To the market for a crab cake and fresh spinach for tonight's dinner. No news otherwise. Tomorrow is the Columbus Day holiday, long weekend for people still working.

That's a good buy on those tees, Kazz. Mags, that is just absurd to have the decorations up this soon, not even Hallowe'en yet! Angie, hope it's not going to be a bad Winter there or here! How much does Pip weigh now? Enjoy the lazy day, Emma and the nice dinner.

Take care, all!

Lovely bright sunny day today, but cold wind. Managed to plant out some spring bulbs on the roadside. Hope they come up. Enjoy the day peeps.
