Saturday thread

Morning all

Lovely sunny day here, not bad for the middle of October!

We're off to visit our son in Wales in a couple of hours, then bringing him back here later this evening for the weekend and having a little get together for his and my daughter's birthday.

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend

Re: Saturday thread

Sounds fun, Mags.
Well, it is pouring down rain here. Has been since yesterday. Debating whether to go out in this yuckiness or not. K is woking an extra shift this morning for overtime.
I am out of smokes, K left me with none but I really hate driving in the rain. And the dogs are feisty and barking loudly and making it worse. Undecided.
K will prob wanna sleep when he gets home so it'll prob just be a lazy evening..maybe watch some movies or something.

Re: Saturday thread

Still raining here on the East Coast, has been for days and will again tomorrow. Only 5 degrees now, 20 below seasonal normals; this is early December weather. I too hate going out in the rain so skipped my library trip; just pottering around. Maybe, just maybe, sun on Monday!!

Hope you have a nice visit, Mags, and a happy birthday wish to your two, especially Steve who rescued me when I almost lost my computer!! Tink, as a fellow smoker, I commiserate!! Kazz, sorry you're bored; think up some good threads to liven Catsey up ...too quiet!

Hehe I caved and drove down the street. Wasn't too bad actually. Now that I'm caffeinated and nicotined, I feel great! LOL..

Evening all. Had my nail done this morning and had lunch out. It made OH very unwell

I'm absolutely hyper as there was the most amazing programme on last night; Synth Britannia. It's about the electronic pop revolution of the late 70s and early 80s . . . MY music!! And they were interviewing my absolute hero, Gary Numan. Infact I'm listening to Radio 6 at the moment as Cars is playing as I type and he'll be on again at 10.

It's so, so strange reliving thoughts, feelings and emotions from 30 years ago whilst listening to these songs.

Weirdo
Evening, not alot to report, looking after the birds again this weekend, have laptop and managed to get connection. I am absolutely knackered and would really really love to be at home in my own bed for atleast a month. All these house sits have taken their toll but hey, it's a living.
