Peak District

I had a lovely few days camping above Hathersage and walking. Bit cold in the tent at night though!

Mompesson's well above Eyam

The Riley graves- Eyam

Walking up Cave dale near Castleton

Heading for Mam Tor

Mam Tor after walking up, along and down the other side

My oldest friend and Rufus, a one eyed dog- walking companions on my last day

Carl Wark in the Burbage valley

The heather was at its best!

Re: Peak District

Great photos. The heather is beautiful. Spent a lot of my childhood around Castleton, Hope and Bradwell, lots of family there. It's a shame they've shut the road over Mam Tor, I don't think Winnat's Pass was made for so much traffic.
