Panic Stations!!!!

Emma sprang it on me last night that Graham and i are going to the Energy Ball with her and Jim tonight
I have nothing to wear, no pennies to go and buy anything, my hair is a mess and i really dont do posh!!!
What am I going to do?
Also woke up this morning and have an iritating sty in my eye, GREAT!!!

Take down the curtains and get your sewing maching out, get the curling tongs out (they are little miracle workers), and wear lots of black eyeliner over the sty Job done

Oh, and have fun at the ball

Eeeek!!! I don't do posh either. Grit your teeth, wear the nicest thing you've got and remember that other people really don't pay as much attention to what you're wearing as you think! Relax and enjoy! And we expect a report!!

Go and enjoy yourself.... wear comfy shoes....and regardless of the sty what you wear all anyone remember is the lady who had a good time and....enjoyed herself.

Them velcro rollers work wonders Elaine put them in til the last minute then just scrunch up your hair with a bit of gel to seperate the curls. if not then blow it straight in sections (underneath first so it lies flat). Wear something you feel comfortable in (not your jeans ). Then smile and get drunk cos everyone else will be too stiff to enjoy themselves

Well, I flapped and panicked all afternoon and after one or two little tantrums with hair and clothes, I got it together
Every one there was in ball gowns and little black numbers but after a few glasses of free bubbly I was just fine
The meal was lovely, the people at our table were really nice, funny and down to earth.
The entertainment was really good, there was a fiddle player(cannt remember the name) but as she played, two girls were twirling themselves up and down the curtains.
Then there was the Red Hot Chille Pipers, they were excellent and that was followed by an ABBA tribute band and lots of dancing.
All in all, a very enjoyable night.

Was up before midday because I had two rabbits to go see to and clean out, also because i wasnt too drunk, surprising I know
