Windy Wednesday

Morning all, it's a bit blowy here and I've got a load of washing pegged out so hopefully it will dry. Smudge as usual is unimpressed about her fur being blown about. She is getting very scruffy as she continually lurks in the long grass waiting for small furries and however much we brush her she develops 'dreadlocks' underneath! Because she is at the vet for check ups quite regularly they are clipping her worst tangles for us.

Thanks for the sympathy and smiley faces in response to my root canal yesterday. The mouth is a bit sore today but not painful so I'm hoping the worst is over. OH Kindly made me a personalized sticker!

Glad the tooth/face isn't too bad, CS. You OH is a real sweetie making you such a cute sticker ...

Today I have a nasty bout of vertigo, am up and about and in the office but can't move too quickly as my head spins horribly. Feel quite queasy too. Hopefully it'll pass soon.

Re: Windy Wednesday

afternoons all.
Love the sticker CS, hope your mouth is better soon
Sorry to hear you have vertigo Yola, hope it goes soon
Been out and about today on a library run ( reminds me of Eileen ), then to the hardware shop for bird food and last stop the pet shop for dog food.
The owner was telling me about a new food they are developing that is completely grain free, will give it a whirl when they have it in.
Off to work soon
Nette, i have power of attorney for my son , we did it ourselves, took ages to fill in the forms, what a headache.
We need to make a will and also get my name on the deeds of our house, all jobs which are important but you keep putting off.

Re: Windy Wednesday

Afternoon all ...... nice turn out today! Sorry about your sore mouth CS, hopefully worst is over. Nice sticker!!! Yola, sorry about your vertigo, I wonder if the weather plays a part? Shelley, what did you get at the library??? Any recommendations???

We also need to update our Wills and sort things out .... we had made provision for OH's mum in our last Will but as she's gone we really need to revise it. I do keep reminding OH but he doesn't like talking about it and I'd rather know it's done and dusted and then not talk about it.

I was expecting work yesterday "early afternoon" which didn't arrive until after 5.00 .... I am expecting more today but don't know when which makes settling into the scriptorium tricky. Still, stripped the bed and got that washed and out on the line, keep having to stick my nose out of the window because someone has got a bonfire somewhere .............. AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!

Have a good day peeps.

Re: Windy Wednesday

Afternoon everyone.

Cs hope your mouth is better soon.
Yola, sorry to hear your vertigo has been playing up. Hope it settles soon for you.
Shelley, have a good day at work.
Angie, hope your washing is ok.

I'm working today but got a horrible migraine which is making it really hard to focus. Think I'm worrying about barney going to the vet tonight as they may have to sedate him to check his ear. Just got horrible feeling from the time we had to leave Harris at the vet. I know he will be fine but it's always a worry

Re: Windy Wednesday

Hi girls, I'm late again for Catsey!

Sorry to hear about the vertigo Yola, it's a rotten thing, I have an aunty that suffers badly with it. Take care with that migraine too Pamela, and lots of soothing mouthwashes for you CS. What a lot we are!

Yes we got a lot of the paperwork sorted yesterday, we have to pay a solicitor to register the LPA, so we have to meet costs, however I'm glad that it's been done this way as it can be costly to make a mistake.

Turned out lovely this afternoon so I too stripped the bed and have cleaned out the guttering, well parts I could reach anyway. Wish it could last a bit longer but changing by Friday for us, such a shame.Loving the tennis, always feels like summer when I can hear the familiar sound of Wimbledon on the telly.

Will check in early tomorrow, Promise fingers x'd
