My latest earworm!

Well, actually, this has been quite a long-standing earworm. It grabbed me when I watched this finale to Dr Who Series 4 - I had to search the web to find out what the music was and finally got the CD for Christmas.

But this is the melody that's sticking .... and sticking ..... and sticking.

Can anyone else tell me why it's so incredibly good?

Sorry, have to add the guy whose written all the hooks is Murray Gold.

I find certain music is captivating in that it stays in my head....unti ousted by another....

First time I've heard that, it does get under your skin somehow. Can't figure out why, just does!

Hooray! Thanks CM - not just me then?

I did a quick Google yesterday about music and emotional response and there are loads of articles - difficult to know where to start.
