Do you do the slow blink with your cats??

I have been doing this over the past 6 months with my cats and it is so funny how they react. Bronwyn goes totally crazy and Arthur will blink back at me. Does anybody else do this with their cats? and if so how do they react.

Do you mean blinking both eyes together?

Yep! I do it all the time, it is meant to show some reassurance and that you are also 'happy'.. its cat language

yes both eyes together, I find the slower you do it the better...I will video Bronwyns reaction sometime as it is really funny..

Oh you can also yawn at the same time as the blinking as this is extra reassurance to your cat

I know that if a cat sits with his her back to you it means they are cross with you for some reason!

Next doors cat does it to them whenever they go on hols
