Minnies been for a check up


Thought id give you all an update on Minnie.
If you remember she had her thyroid removed at xmas then they found she had the start of kidney problems so was put on tablets and special food.
Tonight we went for a check up and they are very pleased with her.She has gained weight,her coat is in good condition,nice pink gums and looks good.Thats what the vet said. Im very pleased.I will keep up the good work.

Very pleased she is doing well, how was her kidney function? Has it stabalised with the meds and diet?

They didnt do any blood tests this time,they said because shes put on a good amount of weight (gone from 3.4kg at Xmas to 3.8kg now)they will do them next time which will be in september.Obviously if i see any changes before then i will take her back.

Glad to hear she is doing well, its such a relief when they start to put on weight when their thyroid is stable.
