Good morning ladies
It's 5.30pm here and it's cold and raining outside. I was planning to go and do a bit of shopping today, but after Janna left for work at 7am, I noticed that the hot water cylinder was overflowing. Luckily the water was pouring outside from the pipe in the roof, and not inside. It kept pouring out as the cylinder was constantly refilling and I couldn't turn the water supply to the house off from the street as the switch was rusted. I had to ring a plumber and hang round until he could come at around 1pm. My poor cats disappeared while he was here. The poor guy had to go up in the roof and as he was rather big, I hoped he wouldn't get stuck, but he managed with a bit of a tight squeeze. I haven't got the bill yet, but hope that it's not too expensive.. Funny how things always go wrong when you have got lots of bills to pay !!!

Janna's mouth has settled down but the bruising is still quite bad. Brenna must be OK because i haven't heard from her. I know she's going back to the specialist tomorrow to get the remaining stitches out, and she'll ring me after that. Hopefully it's just those pesky stitches that's making her mouth so sore.

Janna goes back to her dentist on Monday next week to have the sealants put on some of her teeth. Snoddy is going to the groomer next Tuesday, but the forecast isn't good weather wise ,so I may take Freddie instead . Snoddy's matts are quite bad and she's going to have to shave parts of him. I'm worried about him getting cold.

Chicken again for tea tonight I've got some nice wee brioche buns as well so we may have those for dessert. I really should try and get away from chicken, but it's so quick and easy. and I'm not in to cooking. I spoke to my cousin on the phone this afternoon and she didn't mention coming round this weekend, but I'm hoping she will. We're talking OK again, so I guess that's something.

PAMELA, I hope you enjoyed your training course yesterday. It would have been nice to see all your co-workers again. You'll be looking forward to your day off today and I'm glad you're finally going to get your tooth sorted. I hope it goes well. Has Steven begun his new job yet ? If so ,I hope he's enjoying it.Wow, your dad sure must love travelling. I hope he has a good trip to London tomorrow and then a lovely time in Germany. Is he going with his friends or alone ?

SHELLEY, that lunch of soup and rolls sounds wonderful - what amazing flavours. Did your plumber sort out your boiler yesterday ? I'm sorry that the weather hasn't been great for you, but at least you're able to do some lovely walks and catch up with your cousins, even if you have to eat at different tables !!! How are you getting on with the jigsaw puzzle ? I also love doing jigsaws and I've got some lovely animal ones. Have you tried the diamond art pictures ? They're also fun to do.

Well ladies, I'm off now to sort out tea. Janna's just come home and is feeding the birds.

Cold and rainy today.
The dogs had a brief walk on the beach but we cancelled the longer planned walk.
Eading, TV, jigsaw and eating today, lol.
Dinky the puzzle is coming along nicely.
Glad jannas mouth has settled and also hope Brennas appointment goes well. Hope your plumbing bill isn't too bad.
Our plumber serviced the boiler yesterday, alls OK.
Pamela, how did the training go yesterday.
