Blue Baliero

Balie is my baby - he's permenantly afraid, but can be quite photogenic despite being a bit boss-eyed. He was the runt of the litter but I just feel in love with him. The pic of him on the roof is the one that really captures his little purrsonality. Sorry for the glut of pics; once I started looking I found a few decent ones of him!!

Re: Blue Baliero

Pretty boy - what a shame he's a shy cat
..............and why do we fall for the runt of the litter? - we should go for the pushy champion lookalike!

easy, because we love the cat for it's warmth and personality, and dont see it as an object to make money from!
OK there is nothing wrong with getting a pedigree cat etc, but dont the runts usually have such a loving nature?
Some people would only choose the best of the litter for breeding purposes, thinking get a nice cat, make nice kittems, make more money.

I dont care if a cat is the runt, i'd still take it in.

YOLA< watch that boy cos I'm a coming to steal him!

he is just sooooooo adorable, he looks all cute and cuddly. I bet you spend ages brushing that coat!!
IS he a people cat? I bet he loves being made a fuss off.
You must be so proud to ahve such a stunning cat

Re: Blue Baliero

Wow CJ - Balie's blushing like fury over all the compliments . . . thanks a bunch!!!

He is a 'people' cat once he gets to know them. If he's unsure he just vanishes under a bed or behind a chest of drawers (or behind the washing machine when the cleaners come), and you just don't see him.

Once he's certain of someone - he will just kinda hang around. He's not a lap cat but he will always be found close by me and always sleeps on my feet at night.

When Balie was a kitten hubby worked from home and Balie used to hang on the back of the office chair bu his claws, he also used to chased balls of paper down 4 flights of stairs and bring them back for another throw (our office was at the very top of the house).

I don't brush him that much - his trousers can get a bit tangled, but his top fur is sleek and rarely needs brushing. About once a week is the norm - more in summer when the sleep in the garden borders
