I love beaches in winter too Karen. Elaine, it looks wild, cold and beautiful up there - lucky you to manage a few days to escape - probably just what the doctor ordered! I had a colleague that used to go to Findhorn regularly, he loved it and showed me lots of pics of his dog on the beach. I understand it's quite a favourite dog-walking spot Just looked it up on the map and it's actually quite close to where I went on one of my only 2 visits to Scotland; we went to the Black Isle back in 1988. Glad you had a good time. |
