Re: cruises

I went on a cruise with school when I was 15 after my O levels. Guess that doesn't really count!!! OH has a friend who regularly goes on cruises, about twice a year.

Re: cruises

Never been on one but I have never known anyone go on one who has not enjoyed it and been again. It appears to be a type of holiday experience that becomes addictive. Enjoy

Re: cruises

I've been on 2....
A Carribean cruise when I was 16, it was a formal cruise.
And a Med cruise when I was 20 (9 yrs ago), which wasn't a formal one.
Enjoyed both, and would love to go on another!!

Re: cruises

I've been on a week-long Nile River cruise some 15 years ago which was nice because it stopped everyday with new and different things to see, but I've not been on a sea cruise.

I know it's horses for courses, but it's not something that's ever appealed to me.

Re: cruises

we had a mini cruise recently, was a prize i won. all the food was included and boy the food was amazing. i was a positive hobbit 3 breakfasts ect lol
but it was all in dollars and we had a card where u used that and at the end of the cruise u was given a bill, so it could of worked out rather expensive if we hadnt of been careful. but it was restfull, but make sure u have lots of money spare
