Daily Thread / MondayMorning all. overcast but dry here at the moment. This is Em's last week at junior school as she moves up to High school in September. There's lots of celebrations/activities going of this week. Today they are having a party and I'm just about to start preparing our contribution to that - cheese on sticks  and then this evening they have their leaver's disco. Not much else plannedHope you all have a lovely day

Morning all, raining again, what a surprise!!! Raechel off to her first day of summer school this morning. Only on or a week, but looks like they're going to have lots of fun. Hayley then has a bowling party with her Brownie pack and then nothing planned for the rest of the day. Hope all those at school enjoy their last few days and everyone else has a good day. |

we have sunshine! and clear blue skies - the only clouds are light fluffy ones over the hills - and it isn't too hot just right I'm going to only do a little work this morning and do the rest tonight so I can enjoy some sunshine |

Afternoon all, we have had rain, rain and more rain all day so far.  Went into town this morning and by the look on everyone's face, they are all thoroughly fed up with it..My grandson has his Preschool leavers trip to the zoo today .......poor kiddies are going to be soaked to the skin Katie's sports day has already been cancelled...I'll join you in your sulk, DM!  |

Well, what excitement at Hayleys bowling trip!! They got chucked out during the second game as the mecca bingo next door went on fire. All these wee girls outside in the pouring rain with their bowling shoes on. The offices next door opened up their meeting room for them to go in and wait and after waiting an hour the manager of the bowling saif that they should just go home in their bowling shoes as it would be hours before they could get back in. So we have to go back tomorrow to get Hayleys trainers!! She's most worried about them lol! |

It's so ironic: you are having far too much rain (the flooding there made our national news last night), and we can't get a drop here! There was a chance of it this morning, but none and it's now bright and sunny! We're in the early stages of a drought; the farmers are losing a lot of crops, especially corn and apples. Very sad, and food prices will go up.. Did my usual market run and watered all the pot plants out front. Nothing special planned. Try to stay dry, have a nice afternoon! |

Well looking at the pictures from the Mail Tewkesbury is an island, the banks of the Avon and the Severn (rivers either side of Tewkesbury have both broken their banks. But have to say it has hardly rained here today |

Evening all. dare I say we have had a lovely day, had the dogs for boosters to the vets today, then walked them, did the usual tidying up and washed my car, now settling down for an evening of Catsey.. |
