So what did you all do today?

So what did everyone do upon this fine saturday?
Me-well....took dogs on the walk from hell this afternoon-some fool with a few yorkies off the lead passed us and one attacked Ralph for no reason, poor wee fellow didnt no what to do bar lie down-submit and take it, wish he was a bit braver the poor chap! Then sat in the garden, on the sun lounger-with the laptop and had a bit of Pink Floyd blasting out...what a way to spend an afternoon.
Then the relatives from hell decided twas a day to have a BBQ so our garden is being used for that now...ralph is relishing the attention, of course!
So what did you all do today?

I did some housework, played with the kittens & went to work. (boring!)
Got back & now I'm on here.

Did some shopping, a bit of housework, in the garden for a while, came back in....too hot

.......watched England.............exciting day!

Got up early and dropped Sean off as he was going to Thorpe Park with school. Came home and did lots of washing and put it out to dry, then sat on my swinging hammock for a few hours until England were playing on TV.

After that sat back in the garden, but the sun was blasting the back of the house so came back in again... did some tidying, and now watching Sweden v Trinidad game (a guy from Gillingham FC playing for Trinidad).

Sean due home shortly so will go collect him. Emma has had her friend here all day causing trouble

Not done much at all but sit in the garden all day

Took the girls on a walk with hubby after the match but it really was too hot for them

Bought some water half way round and more or less forced them to drink it

On days like this we usually wait until late evening to go for their long walk and today has made me realise why

been to a bootie, bought some cat books one signed by the author

took dog for short walk (too hot for him) had a nap while england was playing LOL (not a football household) now gonna have a late dinner.
going to 2 booties 2morrow, so got to get up early, so a nice bath n bed early for me

Read the paper, did the shopping, scrubbed the patio table clean, and rescued a frog from Jason & Molly who think it's great fun making them jump and squeak!

Quiet day: to the library to change my books, got wine at the market, had lunch & did the crossword, put the recycling out & did a tad of weeding; now on Catpages! Will fix dinner later.

Went to town with the kids, did some general tidying up, had a bbq then finished watching The Italian Job with the kids eating Watermelon and Mango, they had very messy sticky faces and fingers after that but i don't care it was nice to spend some quiet time with them today

They've been fast asleep since 7:30 bless 'em
