Our new kitten :]

We got her yesterday so I wanted to post a few photos to show her off :]

She's 11 weeks old and incredibly shy and nervous. She was abandoned so we don't know if she has been mistreated and that's why she's so wary of people. Our house is quite quiet, no children but people around all day, so we're hoping this will help her come out of her shell.

She's spent much of the past 24 hours hiding away, but when she comes out she's so playful, and sweet.

We've not decided on a name (it's so hard choosing!) but Sky is a favourite so far

Thank you for looking
Louise x

Re: Our new kitten :]

Congratulations on owning such a cute little kitten, Louise!

She is bound to be nervous to start with, she has a lot of new people and things to get acquainted with. I'm sure you'll see a completely different kitten in no time!

She's beautiful .... and I think Sky is a lovely name

She's a poppet and very pretty! She'll soon settle in and get used to people I'm sure. Nice and gently.

What a pretty little one! Yes a vote for Sky here; lovely name indeed. It's all so new to her, she's bound to be a bit wary and skittish after being abandoned (how could someone!!), but I'm sure she'll settle and be a happy little girl. Thanks for sharing!

She looks so sweet and, yes, a bit serious but I think that will wear off once she realizes she's in a safe place. Thank you for taking her in and Congratulations! on the new baby
And the name Sky really does seem to suit her..

Re: Our new kitten :]

Thank you everyone, again! It's amazing, we've been playing with her and she's gone from running away if we even moved an arm or made a noise near her to her letting us stroke her. She's been purring like mad, it's incredible (it made me blub, heh)
