Daily Thread / Sunday

Morning all, the sun is shining brightly here today Had a lovely time with Kay, (posted about it in yesterday's daily thread) Still catching up on the lost sleep so feel a little groggy this morning!! Off to do the horses soon, my mum might be allowed out of hospital today with a view to going back as an outpatient for further tests so I will need to be around to pick her up if that's the case. I am off to see Mildred's breeder later too so not sure how the day will all pan out really.

Hope you all have a lovely day

Re: Daily Thread / Sunday

hi Fran, great news about your Mom. Really pleased to hear that.
I've got to get everything sorted for school / back to work tomorrow. We are off out later with the girls & the dog for a nice walk. Some microchipping paperwork to get on top of, other than that I'm not doing much today.

Sounds good news about your mum Fran.
Lovely morning here but forecast wet later. Am off for a look at the allotment and to collect some leeks and purple sprouting for sunday lunch now. Have a good day - I'll be back later to catch up

Re: Daily Thread / Sunday

Morning. I'm not feeling to chirpy this morning as Teddie had a very bad night again, I've just been cleaning up poo from my carpets, the kitchen, my feet etc. I feel like such a failure with her as I have no idea what to do anymore. She is only getting fish so haven't a clue what has set her off. She has been very runny for the last few weeks, but last night was dreadful. She's now being starved for today again. I'm wondering whether the best thing for her would be to give her up to someone who can afford to have all the diagnostic tests done to find out what is wrong with her. God, I'm actually crying just typing that. I just don't know what else to do. Sorry for ranting folks, I'm just so depressed this morning. Hope the day finds the rest of you okay.

{{{hugs}}} for ALex.
I don't know what else to suggest or what else you could try.
You know she's just having fish, well does she sometimes get other bits, like from the other cats bowls when you're not looking, or pick up bits of food, what the kids drop? Because if she has a food intolerance or allergy it would only take a tiny bit of something different to set her off, do you think this could be happening?

Alex. why don't you start a new thread, people may notice it more than in the daily & hopefully be able to offer some advise.

Alex - so sorry to read your post. Have replied in the other thread.
It's still nice here. I had fun on the allotment, so it's obviously that time of year - I'll be there more and here less (I can hear the cheering!)

{{{Hugs Alex and Teddie}}} I have replied to your other thread.

I've fetched mum out of the hospital. The diagnosis is Diverticulitis, she is going to have some follow up appointments for a couple of other tests. Thank you all for the good wishes for her x

Glad to hear your mum is home Fran. She'll be much more comfortable in her own space. What exactly is diverticulitis?

Re: Daily Thread / Sunday

Fingers crossed for a quick recovery for your mum Fran, and an easy adjustment to life with diverticulitis. Am I right in thinking she will have to watch/change her diet?
