Kincraig wildlife park

Heres the pics from our day at the wild life park,I was going to take Elaine to the Safari Park next time she comes down here but I dont think I will now after seeing this place

And the Scottish Wild Cats, the were absolutely stunning, they were really active so some of these pics are not very good, they wouldnt stay still long enough to get a decent pic -

And finally, some pics from our drive up to the park -

Right I think that pretty much covers all the pics from Scotland, ill start on the Wales pics now

Great pictures Erin - those wildcats though - they should be free!!! I know these wildlife parks do good work with saving species, but to see those dignified creatures behind fences sort of chokes me.

And what is the animal in the 2 photos just above the otter?

Re: Kincraig wildlife park

They are arctic foxes Angie.
I think Kincraig does a fantastic job with its breeding programes etc, the biggest threat to the wild cat is the domestic cat and sadly, these things are needed if we want to see wild cats in the wild in the future.
But i know what you mean, it chokes me too.

Dont envy me, just come up and visit Scotland can be a very dark, wet and miserable place but when the sun shines, its simply gorgeous. A very under rated wee country is oor Scotland.
