Re: Daily thread (wednesday)

Ooo - can we see one of your flyers Elaine (I'm a bit of an anorak like that ).

BM - hoping all goes well at the hozzie and you're not kept in.

Well Myshka has the runs a bit in the night. I have a litter tray in my room and he was in and out of it lots . . . hopefully it's just the change of environment.

In the office today. A bit frosty as OH and I aren't talking - again! To be honest I prefer it like that. I can cook what I want for dinner (usually light salads) and watch whatever rubbish I want on TV without Mr. If-you-don't-listen-to-Radio-4-you're-dim' looking down his nose.

Got lots to be getting on with but will be popping on and off here during the day.

Re: Daily thread (wednesday)

Wishing you well for your appointment BM.

MIL did her usual Wednesday thing again today! 10.45 before she came for her breakfast. Got loads of transcription work to do, but couldn't get on with it for fear of not hearing her in the kitchen. She won't call/ask for anything so you have to keep 2 steps ahead of her all the time which can be tricky!

OH off golfing - it's good he gets some time away from his mother - at least I don't have the emotional involvement which must make it so difficult for him seeing her deteriorating.

Merlin is eating for Britain at the moment - which worries me a bit. It's lovely seeing him enjoying his food, but possibility of his thyroid being more than a "blip" makes me think that a trip to the vet is in order. Poor old Merlin, he gets whisked off when he's obviously not well and whisked off when he seems OK!

Hope "Mouse's" runs clear up PDQ Yola. Have a good day all.

Re: Daily thread (wednesday)

Morning all, showery day but quite mild here.

My daughter called in this morning for a cuppa and a chat...... now both her children are at school all day, she is able to visit more.

BM
~ hope all goes well for you at the hospital...

Yola
~ it sounds like Myshka's upset may be due to his move to a new enviroment, hopefully it will improve in the next day or two.
Hope the atmosphere at home thaws soon for you..

Have a good day everyone!

Re: Daily thread (wednesday)

Hey, all! Sunny and pleasant, 14 degrees now (about time it's warmed up some!). To the market as usual, then planted about 25 of the new bulbs that came yesterday before breaking for my Catsey fix and lunch. Will finish planting this afternoon. Leia got a belated birthday treat: the catnip is up enough to get a few leaves for her today: she likes the fresh and hasn't had any since the frost did it in last December!

BM: hope all goes well at the hospital.
Yola:
sorry things are poorly at home; I agree it's probably the environment change for Myshka..
Angie: fingers crossed for dear Merlin...
Mags: counting down the days now....love the new avatar!

Have a lovely day.....
