Cats are aloof and mysterious and far more intelligent than humans ( except mine, she's a dumb blonde)

Cats don't give affection freely, and can be picky, so you know when they come purring and head-butting that it is true love and attachment

Also, they're lovely purrs and cute wee meows.

They are so intuitive. They will comfort you when you're down and stay close by when you're unwell.

Cats are saviours ...... they stretch our lips to smile, stretch out patience, stretch our peace of mind - and finally stretch the length of our lives.

Having them around gives you a happier life...

they don't require much looking after. a bowl of food, and a bowl of water and most importantly, a clean litter, and they're happy pussies

They come and go as they please, they are not demanding like a dog (shouldn't really say that when Beauty could come in at any moment)

Re: Positive things about Cats

I'm sorry, I had to laugh at the 'not demanding' part. It could be because my two are indoor only, but they are the most demanding cats when it comes to affection-seeking! They'll yowl loudly for a good while, if that fails, they'll jump up on / infront of you whereever you are and rub against you, if that fails, they'll yowl some more and then sulk. Usually I give in at the yowling. For Darcy, it means he wants picked up and held (he'll fall asleep purring straight away) and for Minsky it means he wants to play with his ball.

Perhaps they're possibly a little bt spoilt? I just like to think they're especially affectionate

Re: Positive things about Cats

they make you smile and laugh

stroking them makes you & them feel good!

not much hard work..........honestly!

keep you entertained for hours watching them!

they make you work hard for them & their attention!!

stroking them is proven to reduce stress levels & people with cats live longer (so i read!)

give me some sort of purpose to bother getting out of bed as im not well, his my freind and my little family! couldnt imagine life without my babies!
