Hi everyone :]

Hi there, I'm louise. I don't currently have any cats, but did own a lovely cat Cleo, who we sadly had to have put to sleep a month ago. We had her from 9 weeks old until she was 16 years old so she had a long happy life but it was still so heartbreaking to lose her. She was part of the family

We missed have a kitty around the house so we visited our local cat rescue last week and have reserved a kitten, 11 weeks old (who we think we'll name indie or dexter!) and we're just waiting on the homecheck so we can bring him home

Good luck with getting your new kitten. You must be very excited!

I am so sorry to hear about Cleo - it is a very sad time to go through, but I hope your new little chap will put a smile on your face very soon.

Hi Louise, welcome. So sorry you had the heartache of loosing Cleo but I hope your new furry Indie or Dexter ( ) will go some way towards healing the pain.

Looking forward to news of his arrival and hopefully seeing some pictures.

Hello and welcome! We used to have a Cleo too, black and shiny and very beautiful. So sorry you have recently lost your Cleo, I hope you feel you can tell us all about her if it helps. Most of us have been there ourselves and we know how hard it is, not everybody else understands.

Hi there, so sorry to hear about Cleo, you had her for a long time.

Looking forward to hearing all about your new kitten. My two are just 10 weeks so we'll be able to compare lots of stories!

Re: Hi everyone :]

Thank you for your replies and all your kind words!

It was a horrible decision to have to make, but I know we did the best for Cleo so she wasn't suffering anymore.

Hopefully i'll have lots of pictures of our new arrival soon, I'm not too sure how long homechecks normally take, hopefully not too long. I can't wait until he comes home
