A kittens delight

[Kazz]

Is it a butterfly, is it a plane,
or is the kitten in orbit again.
Jump to the left, leaping to the right,
it makes me tired just watching the flying tyke.

Kittens are dynamic; kittens are bundles of mischief,
and if you get two you’ll have endless fun.
Watching them pounce, watching them hunt,
stalking your big toe is their major delight.

As they grow, fed on a diet of love and companionship,
they become cats of dignity, wisdom and character.
Learnt from years of human friendship and shared adventures,
many a secret you share, and dreams they are told.

Each year they learn another sound, a yowl, or a miaow,
all are new ways of explaining, it’s the ham they wanted, come on lets share it!
You answer their questions, and they reply to yours too, Oh yes they do!
But stalking your big toe is still their major delight.
