Competition I found on another website

Be great if a Catsey user was going to win it Here it is:

Purina ONE Searches for Feline Star
Wednesday, 02 December 2009

Purina ONE is on the hunt for 12 pet cats and their owners to star in a series of short mini-films. Representing one of 12 ‘Calendar Cats’ the lucky felines will also be the first in the nation to try our new recipe cat food.

The specially selected cats will each take part in a ONE month challenge, designed to help you see a visible difference in your cat’s well-being and help put a spring in their step. Each cat and owner will then have their stories captured on film, and go on to become an internet video star. They’ll also receive a fabulous, framed portrait photograph of them with their cat, taken by a leading animal photographer, as a thank you for taking part.

So how can cat owners get involved? If you think your cat might benefit from trying a new diet that’s been specially formulated to maximise energy and help support health and well-being – be it bright eyes, a shiny coat, or even fresh breath - then we want to hear from you. If you’re happy to be filmed and think you’re cat could be purrfect in front of the camera, then he or she could have what it takes to be one of Purina ONE’s Calendar Cats.

Fiona Wylie, Senior Brand Manager for Purina ONE, says; “We know how important the health and well-being of a cat is to its owner and so we’re delighted to be able to give 12 special cats the opportunity to be first to try our new Actilea formula and see the visible difference for themselves. We’ll then be giving the cat owners an opportunity to tell us all how they got on and to share the story of the special bond they have with their cat in our mini Calendar Cat films.”

For your cat to be considered as a Purina ONE Calendar Cat, send an email now with your name and location, a recent jpg photo of you and your cat taken in the last 3 months, as well your cat’s name, age and current diet, the reason why you have such a great relationship with your cat, and why you think he or she might benefit from a change of diet to PurinaonePR@clarioncomms.co.ukThis e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . Or call 020 7343 3142 / 3143 for more information.

The Calendar Cat mini films will be part of a national viral campaign for Purina ONE in 2010, with the films also featuring on the Purina ONE website.
