Been busy doing some paperwork this morning as OH is at work today, I am off out to the shops to get something nice for tea, then need to start a mountainous pile of irononig which I hate doing.
Hope everyone has a nice Bank Holiday Pauline,Maxi & Maisy Xxx

Re: Rainy bank holiday monday

We've been to a Craft & Garden Fair. Not too bad - lots of spending opportunities! I got a couple plants of Catnep as opposed to Catnip and which seem to have the requisite effect on Bentley, who is immune to my catnip. So, I've planted them up, with an upturned hanging basket over them to prevent total destruction by over-indulgence!
The weather seems to be closing in - the clouds are getting lower and there are a few threatening drops.
Hope everyone is having a nice day.

Re: Rainy bank holiday monday

Afternoon from wet, dismal Washington...still raining and will be for at least another day. Gloomy and only 10C; my heat has cut on also. I wanted to shop .... my refrigerator light bulb died last night ...... but it's too yucky to go out. Haven't even been to the back garden to check on the tomatoes, etc; hope they don't drown from a surfeit of rain.

I loathe ironing too; stopped buying things that need it years ago, so only have to do as little of it as possible!

Rainy Bank Holiday....isn't that the way it goes? Enjoy anyway!

Poured all day here - couldn't see other side of field!

Spent a productive day spring cleaning kitchen and utility. Must say it was well worth it as it now looks great.

Everyone has been banned from washing, cooking and ironing for the night - I just want to enjoy it for one day.

Back to work tomorrow so making the most of the evening.

Re: Rainy bank holiday monday

Yup - overcast with some rain here too. We carted our barbecue to my Mum's as my brother had cooked up a lovely feast for us. Thing is I've eaten waaay too much - and lots of homemade garlic dip too - all of which has conspired to give me horrible indigestion.

Sebi refused to touch any food - I think he's a bit off colour at the moment, but Dominik make up for it by having 3rds

Shame the weather was such rubbish today. Sunshine would have been nice.
