 I used to but I'm not allowed to anymore, which makes me very angry as I want to give & I know how desperate they are for blood! |

I used to give blood quite regularly but every single time I did, I fainted  As a nurse this was rather embarrasing so I stopped going |

I hvae fainted too Fran, only on my 1st time & I think it's because I hadn't eaten before going. I can't give any more because I've had a tranfusion, which is all the more reason for me to want to give something back, but they changed the rules a few years back & anyone who's had a transfusion since 1980 can't give. |

I do. I am embarrassed at the pre-donation questions asked now. It's almost as if a donation is a badge of honour for good behaviour. I am sometimes annoyed at the (what seem to me) ridiculous reasons for not taking a donation. Litigious times I suppose ..... |
