You cannt blame yourself Jane, un-neutered Toms will roam, you know that. I know you are worried but it IS their responsibility to look after and spay/neuter their animals. When you say the owners dont care do you mean that they are being flippant about the roaming and beleive he will be back when he's ready or do you mean that they simply dont care full stop? |

I agree with Elaine, they are responsible to castrate their cat to stop him wandering, they can't blame anybody but themselves. I regularly look after the pets of other family members and friends, but I alway say I cannot be blamed for anything that happens while they are away. |

How sad, Jane. For the poor cat who hasn't been neutered, and for you who are feeling bad about his roaming, which is not your fault!! Please don't beat yourself up for something you're not responsible for.... |

Please don't blame yourself, as everyone has said, if they had, had him neutered he would not roam...Its the owners responsibilty not yours... |

Yes i totaly agree with you elaine. Pi mum was a stray that decided to say with a friend but went to austraila for a month and in that time she had given birth in this persons house. The vet said i should leave it a week than i should be able to take it home. He wouldnt let me and said he could cope. He couldnt i looked after his cats when he went away in feb and there was poop everwhere i mean everywhere even a dead baby bird in the sink. A friend and me cleaned it up and she did all the washing and she scooped the hard weeks old poop up i could do it. he employs a cleaner now i only did what i did in the house because of the cats. I saw the previous owner and he said it didnt suprised me that he hadnt come back as well as we both know what he is like |
