Has anyone else's cat reacted to the smell of Milton sterilisation fluid?

You all know how gentle my lovely Kizzy is - she does not bite not scratch. She may chew my fingers, but never intentionally to hurt.

A while ago I was sterilising some jam jars and had finished and rinsed my hands when Kizzy appeared in the kitchen. I was sitting at the table and she jumped up, curled her claw around one of my fingers and bit it! She was taking so much interest in my hands that I can only assume she could smell the Milton.

I think I've read that cats do react to the smell of bleach, which after all is what Milton is. Can anyone else offer any observations???
